When you are purchasing any Capture card ensure the card is validated by Microsoft. Example of this is a card using Conexant this card works find on Windows 98se but install it on XP and you have major problems. It will work sometime then other times it will crash your system over and over again. After installing a message will come up saying "this hardware is Not digitally signedand my not work proply"
