and no regular mail delivery made on

Monday, January 17, 2011 - Martin Luther King, Jr. Day (MLK Day)
Monday, February 21, 2011 - President's Day
Monday, May 30, 2011 - Memorial Day
Monday, July 4, 2011 - Independence Day
Monday, September 5, 2011 - Labor Day
Monday, October 10, 2011 - Columbus Day
Friday, November 11, 2011 - Veterans Day
Thursday, November 24, 2011 - Thanksgiving Day
Monday, December 26, 2011 - Christmas (observed)
Monday, January 2, 2012 - New Year's (observed)
Since both Christmas Day and New Year's
Day fall on Sunday in 2011, those holidays
are observed the following Monday.
Hold Mail or Redelivery cannot be scheduled
to begin or end on the above USPS holiday dates.
NOTE: Although they strive for uniformity
in their operating schedule, unforeseen
circumstances, severe weather, fires,
floods and other natural and man made
disasters can sometimes cause the temporary
closure of post offices, or alter lobby
hours beyond the scope of the above U.S.
Postal Service holidays.
In some locations, when an additional
surcharge is paid, Express Mail deliveries
can be made even on the official U.S.P.S.
shipping holidays listed above. But no
regular mail delivery/pickup or retail
