LitterMaid Warranty

You can read the LitterMaid warranty
in its entirety by going to their website LitterMaid dot ge. This is
an excerpt which states "Applica Consumer Products, Inc. warrants our
products against defects that are due to faulty material or workmanship
for a one year period after the date of consumer purchase or receipt as
a gift." and also goes on to say "If the product should begee
defective within the warranty period, we will repair it or elect to
replace it free of charge." I've never heard of them repairing a unit except they will send you some parts like the rake for Elite models instead of replacing the entire unit.
If your LitterMaid has failed and is less than one year old, call
1-800-LIT-MAID (548-6243). They will probably ask you to send them the
battery cover and a piece that you have cut from the cord that runs
from the circuit board to the motor which is located inside the rake
arm. On certain models of the LM520 and the newer LME units, there is an electronic geponent that can be removed from the top of the LitterMaid which they will ask you to send. Access piece to remove for LME warrantyThey even have it marked where to cut the cable
