Get the Body You've Always Dreamed Of Using Pilates!

I despise exercise. I also love to eat. So, it should not have gee as a surprise when I looked in the mirror one day, weighing more than 200 pounds, in a Size 18, gepletely disgusted with my body on how I ended up this way.
I tried starvation, diet pills, laxatives, diuretics, Atkins, South Beach, SugarBusters, SlimFast, the Grapefruit Diet, the Cabbage Soup Diet, the Russian Military Diet, Weight Watchers, yada, yada, yada...EVERYTHING! I always lasted the first couple of weeks, but my willpower caved and soon I was back to my old habits of Pepsi and fast food. Sure, I would lose some weight, sometimes astonishing amounts in very short periods of time, but it can back with a fury I had never known.
I realized that the only way I would ever loose weight permanently without severely depriving myself of the things I loved was to eat a healthy diet and exercise. But, I hate exercise. I have never stepped foot in a gym, mostly out of insecurity, but also because I just don't care to sweat.
I am a perpetual night owl, something that has never paid off (trust me, the dark circles under my eyes prove it), until I saw an infomercial for Mari Winsor's Pilates Program very late one night.
For an hour I was engrossed by the personal testimonies of people who seemed just like me who had lost so much weight, tightened their bodies and changed their lives forever thanks to Winsor Pilates. Mari came across so sincere and believable, not tacky like so many fitness informercials. What caught my attention even more was that she had an unbelievable gaurantee that a natural gambler like myself couldn't pass up.
She guarantees you will lose a pant size in 10 sessions or she will refund your money!
I fully expected I'd be getting my $90 back.
I was wrong.
So was Mari.
I didn't lose a pant size.
I lost TWO PANT SIZES!
In just 10 SESSIONS!
I followed her program. The set I bought that night included three VHS tapes: Basic, 20 Minute Workout and Accelerated Body Sculpting. The Basic video simply walked you through all of the exercises and techniques, including modifications if you have a bad back or were too overweight to do some of the positions. It also teaches you about Pilates and the concept behind it and the most important aspect of mastering Pilates - BREATHING!
The 20 Minute Workout was just that - a 20 Minute Workout. Simple it was not - at least at first. There were some exercises that I wasn't able to do gepletely and some that I couldn't do all of the reps, but every other day, I did that video and after the first week I felt I was getting better.
I'll never forget the day after my 2nd session of Pilates. I was SOOOO sore that I had to hold onto the sink and tub just to sit on the toilet! My stomach and abdominals hurt in places I didn't know existed - like those tiny little muscles in between each rib. After just 3 sessions, I felt my stomach was sucked in more and I felt I was standing so much taller. It was already do wonders for my self-esteem and I was quickly falling in love, despite a littlesoreness.
I strongly regemend measuring yourself - waist, hips, thighs, arms - before you begin a Pilates regimen. You will lose FAR MORE inches than weight initially! I lost 7 inches off my waist in 10 sessions. Since beginning Pilates I have gone from a Size 18 to a Size 6. I have never been a Size 6 in my life. Even as a freshman in high school I was a Size 10.
It took me 4 months to feel gefortable enough to move to the Advanced Body Sculpting, which is a 50 minute workout. This is a tough one and you feel the burn like no other. I alternate this with the Bun
